Tips to get accurate measurement - Straight Line Function

• Make sure there is sufficient light. If possible, turn on a light or open the window blinds.
  Recommended brightness: 1000 lumens
• Pan the room with the phone to preview the target area. This utilizes the camera to allow the software to become familiar with the environment.
• Try standing still to hit the two points. Move the camera slowly to specify your points of measurement.
• Turn on the Reference Line Option, if a perfect horizontal or vertical measurement is needed.

• Specify your two definition points on the target plane; Make sure these points can be seen in the same screen. The ideal distance between these two points is approximately two to five feet.

Tips to get accurate measurement - Distance Mode

If you need a point to point measurement and 1/8” accuracy is needed, use the Distance mode and unplug the Arrim ONE from your device and it can be used to get more precise measurements from the front or the back of the laser module, like the traditional laser range finder.
